Customer Support Manager - Eastern Europe

First Line Ltd has a vacancy for the position of "Customer Support Manager - Eastern Europe". The successful candidate will work closely with sales, product management and marketing to maximise the distribution of the First Line Ltd brand(s) Globally.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing the sales and profitability of all First Line Ltd brand(s) within a predefined sales area.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets, to ensure continued customer growth within a predefined sales area.
  • Maximising sales opportunities through analysis and order fulfilment by working closely with Customer Services, Product and Warehouse Distribution
  • Identifying opportunities with new and existing customers to maximise the sales of First Line Ltd brands.
  • Gathering intelligence from the local market that would benefit the range development and desirability of First Line Ltd brands.
  • Visiting and supporting all customers to ensure that their requirements are discussed and responded to in a timely fashion.
  • Providing clear and constructive feedback to the appropriate Department or Line Manager regarding any situation which may affect the sales, profit margin or reputation of the First Line Ltd within the local market.
  • Developing strong business relationships with new and existing accounts to ensure a successful trading future in the local market.
  • Informing superiors of upcoming meetings, topics for discussion and tasks resulting from said meetings.
  • Representing First Line Ltd in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner.
  • Ensuring that the best interests of First Line Ltd are always prioritised.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by First Line Ltd to complete the responsibilities above.

Requirements

  • Able to represent First Line Ltd in a professional manner.
  • Able to use best endeavours to increase the sales of our brands in each respective market.
  • Extremely high level of computer literacy – Word, Excel, Vlookup, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Forecasting, Data Manipulation.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical and communication skills.
  • High levels of accuracy.
  • A good understanding of the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • A good knowledge of vehicle components and repair.
  • A competent and professional presenter.
  • Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: German or Polish.

Product Manager

We are investing in the future and our product managers will work closely with our leadership teams to develop and evolve our global product strategies, leading implementation, providing direction and guidance to our global teams, taking inspiration from our incumbent solutions and partnerships. As part of your given market research, you’ll form strong relationships with current incumbent and new supply channel partners, gaining through collaboration with sales and marketing insight into product needs and evolution, both domestically and internationally. You’ll set clear lifecycle strategies, making use of the relationships you build to create and implement sustainable product models. Our product managers create and lead change in a fast paced, ever changing aftermarket.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for product lifecycle for specified product groups (Identifying demand, Initial part set up and sourcing, Product approval, Purchase price agreements, Competitor cross reference and analysis)
  • Liaise with existing suppliers to identify and develop new part numbers, improve First Line buying price and/or terms, gather market and product intelligence, agree product specification
  • Identify new product opportunities based on vehicle launches, market intelligence/customer feedback or supplier range
  • Identify potential new suppliers and assist with negotiations
  • Liaising with the Pricing Manager in relation to reviewing competitor pricing and working to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace as well as commercial
  • Produce Technical bulletins as necessary
  • Work with the marketing team to produce product specific marketing material
  • Assist Technical with any queries/issues
  • Support Sales team with customer queries, tenders etc
  • Identify EOL (end-of-life) products and work to reduce the exposure of the business to obsolete stock and close off relevant part numbers/product lines
  • Maintain a high level of market and product knowledge and following market and technology trends.
  • Be the ‘knowledge base’ of the specific product lines within the business and provide support to all other teams as and when required
  • Any other duties as required by the business, including cross referencing, investigate customer enquiries, customer/supplier visits

Requirements

  • Previous Product Management experience is essential, and the candidate will be expected to display a high level of competency in the following areas:
  • MS Office particularly MS Excel, Power Point
  • VM OE EPC catalogue applications
  • Good level of English language skills, particularly written
  • Good level of Numeracy / Analytical skills
  • Confident presenting at all levels, director, customer, internal, supplier
  • Automotive parts / component knowledge essential
  • Mechanical / Engineering background an advantage (but not essential)
